Copyright & Usage Notice

This copyright usage notice explains how you can use Backdrova wallpapers, what is allowed for personal use, what is not allowed, and how to request removal if you believe something on Backdrova belongs to you.
If you have a question, you can also reach us through our contact page.

Copyright Usage Notice — Personal Use Rules

Unless a wallpaper page states otherwise, wallpapers on Backdrova are provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may download a wallpaper and use it as a background on your desktop, laptop, phone, tablet, ultra-wide monitor, or dual-monitor setup.

You may also crop, resize, reposition, or adjust a wallpaper for your own screen. This includes using Backdrova tools such as the screen-size checker, wallpaper fit checker, palette tools, and other on-page features that help you choose the right file, resolution, color, or crop for your personal setup.

Using Backdrova Tools

Backdrova may provide tools that help you check your screen size, compare wallpaper fit, copy palette information, review file details, or choose a better wallpaper for your device. These tools are provided for convenience and setup guidance only.

Using a Backdrova tool does not give you ownership of a wallpaper, does not create a commercial license, and does not allow you to redistribute, resell, scrape, mirror, or re-upload the image file elsewhere.

What’s Not Allowed

To keep things fair and protect creators, this copyright usage notice does not allow the actions below:

  • No reselling: Don’t sell Backdrova wallpapers or include them in paid bundles, digital packs, subscriptions, or downloadable collections.
  • No re-uploads as your own: Don’t upload wallpapers to other websites, apps, marketplaces, social pages, or file libraries as “your content.”
  • No commercial use: Don’t use wallpapers in ads, product packaging, branding, merchandise, paid client work, templates, or commercial projects without permission from the rights holder.
  • No redistribution: Don’t share the image file directly as a downloadable asset on another platform. Share the Backdrova page link instead.
  • No NFT / tokenization: Don’t mint, tokenize, sell, or distribute Backdrova wallpapers as NFTs or similar digital assets.
  • No AI dataset use: Don’t scrape or collect Backdrova wallpapers for training datasets, image-generation datasets, machine-learning systems, or automated image libraries.
  • No automated scraping: Don’t scrape, mass-download, crawl for files, mirror pages, copy metadata at scale, or use bots to extract Backdrova content.
  • No false ownership claims: Don’t claim that a Backdrova wallpaper, edited version, crop, palette, or resized version is your original copyrighted work.

Sharing & Credit

You may share a link to a wallpaper page, color hub, device page, guide, collection, or setup example on Backdrova. You do not need permission to share a normal link to the page.

We appreciate credit when you share Backdrova, but please avoid re-uploading the actual image file elsewhere. Linking to the original wallpaper page helps visitors see the correct title, resolution, device fit, color tags, download options, and related wallpapers.

Downloads, Ads, and Third-Party Links

Backdrova may display ads, affiliate links, sponsored placements, or third-party content in some areas of the site. These items do not change the copyright status of any wallpaper and do not give visitors additional rights to use, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit Backdrova content.

Official wallpaper downloads should come from Backdrova download buttons or Backdrova wallpaper pages. If an advertisement, third-party link, browser extension, or outside website displays a separate download button, offer, or file prompt, that item is not the same as a Backdrova wallpaper license.

What Happens Next

We review removal requests and check the provided Backdrova URL(s). If a request appears valid, we may remove the content, disable access to it, update the page, or take other appropriate action.

We may also contact the requester for clarification or contact the uploader or source connected to the content when it helps us review the issue. Submitting incomplete or unclear information may slow down the review process.

Repeat Abuse, Scraping, and Misuse

Backdrova may restrict access, block automated traffic, remove content, or take other action when we believe someone is abusing the site, scraping content, mass-downloading files, misusing download tools, or violating these personal-use rules.

This helps protect the site, visitors, creators, and the quality of the wallpaper library.
