What to Include in a DMCA Takedown Notice

To process your request fast, include the items below. Missing details can delay removal.

  • Your contact info: name, address, phone number, and email
  • The copyrighted work: a description (or a list if multiple works)
  • The infringing URL(s): links on Backdrova you want removed
  • Good-faith statement: you believe the use is not authorized
  • Accuracy statement: the notice is accurate under penalty of perjury
  • Signature: electronic or physical signature
